As a coach, personal trainer and sports therapist with over a decade of experience, I have had the chance to use a huge range of equipment. With free weights you challenge your balances of movement throughout your entire body, your movement patterns will have a different type of stress loading onto the targeted muscles. Kettlebells will challenge your grip more than with a dumbbell, especially if you have it bottoms up!
