I’m Studying to Become a Children’s Fitness Instructor

Lately, I’ve taken a new step in my career journey—I’ve enrolled in a Children’s Fitness Instructor Course, and I’m genuinely excited about where it’s heading
This course is all about building the essential skills needed to work with kids aged 5 to 15 in a safe environment of the facility. It’s not just about keeping children active—it’s about understanding how to create safe, effective, and fun fitness programs that support their physical development and long-term well-being. It covers everything from age-appropriate exercise planning to the psychology of keeping children engaged and motivated.
The course is CIMSPA-approved, which means it meets the recognised standards in the fitness industry here in the UK.
The content dives deep into the programming and developmental needs of children across different age groups. It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach—what works for a 6-year-old is totally different from what’s appropriate for a 14-year-old, and this course takes that into account.

I’ve always believed in the importance of getting adults moving and now its time to start from the early years helping them form healthy habits early on. Taking this course is helping me turn that passion into something professional, structured, and impactful.
I’ll share more about what I’m learning as I go, but for now—I’m feeling inspired, challenged, and excited to keep moving forward.
I will update more on this course and what I have planned once qualified, but you should expect a new service for parents and kids and small classes.
