This programme is aimed towards those who class themselves as intermediate/advanced level athletes with 1-3 years training. You’ll be expected to have moderate strength levels with an understanding on your strength efforts. An example of a strong athlete would be those who can squat 1 times their own body weight. I have chosen dumbbells and barbells to improve your functional movement, performance and skill levels. I am a big believer in freeweight training, my exercises are not for you if you aren't willing to challenge yourself! It is a 3 day gym based plan, personally I’d suggest 2 days on, 1 day off, 1 day on & 1-2 days off. I have been through the programme myself and to attempt more than days became too challenging for recovery. Treat your days in between as active rest days, I recommend to perform a class, go for a long walk, cycle or swim. If you require any further information then please don't hesitate to ask.
